Union, Maine Antiques Fair

Every year come rain or shine Union, Maine, holds one of the most well attended and interesting Antiques Fairs around.  As a regular I can say that this year has been the best in a very long time.  The very first booth I walked into had an amazing stack of hat boxes that I have ever seen.  I immediately summoned one of my friends and said "you need these or I will buy them", my friend did buy them and of course they look fabulous in her home.

Marston House was there as well selling their vintage linens and these clay pots which are absolutely charming.

This booth reminded me of Rachel Ashwell and her Shabby Chic look.  They had great inventive lighting and other things....

And, no fair would be complete unless you could have your picture taken.  It just so happens that Mr. Tintype was so generous with his craft that I "almost" sat for a portrait.  More later about him and his new business venture in Portland.  Signing out from the Union Antiques Fair.

Next year ya'all!
