 We all feel the pinch as to how quickly time flies.  I often times find myself staring at other people’s babies wondering where the time went with my own, when, I’m struck with the fact that I am being stared at by a couple of over-protective parents thinking I’m stalking their lovely child.  Fact is, I am really marveling over how I somehow don’t remember being in the moment with my children but, rather, remember only the highlights.  I think this is why Susanna Hertrich’s Chrono-Shredder strikes a chord deep within my psyche.  The visual impact of watching time virtually shred by has come full circle for me.

Not to mention, (my favorite phrase), it’s handsome and, is appealing as a work of art on any wall.  Probably not too pet friendly, depending on the pet, I would still love to see what a year’s worth of calendar paper shredded in real time looks like on my floor.  I’ll try not to reflect on the past but, look to the future as the months tick (shred) by.
