 There are moments in one's life when form + function = flashback!  One look at Louise Campbell's "Bless You" chair and that flashback comes roaring back from my days spent in southern Louisiana.  Ecclesiastical garb aside...I really think this chair is a "Mitre" vision.  Or, more to the point...maybe Ms. Louise came to the same conclusion after an audience with the "man running the Vatican?"...wearing said attire??

The "Bless You" chair is now in the permanent collection of the Cooper Hewitt, National Design Museum in New York.  I can't be the judge but, I really do see a "pontiff" in this picture.
