Bennison Fabric is one of my favorites to work with. Launched in 1985 (relatively new for a fabric company with such a clientele) from England, the company specializes in hand-printed fabrics.
I suppose my fascination with Bennison is that their prints are based on original 18th and 19th Century English and French textiles. I mean, come on, this is great! Mary Poppins?
These antique designs were discovered by the late, decorator, Geoffrey Bennison, God Bless You Geoffrey. I am sure horses across America are thanking you as well!
When you choose Bennison, you choose quality. My favorite to work with here in the Northeast are their linen prints. I know, I know, they do silk as well but, silk does not play out well up here. The sun is a huge factor on the coast of Maine and silk fades. I suppose your chair could end up looking like this if you left it in the strong summer Maine sun. I happen to like this chair just the way it is.
If only I had legs this long - then everything would look brilliant on me. I can't imagine what that would feel like.
More than anything - I love their advertising, which is what you are seeing. Sigh, to only have that budget! Below is their more traditional look and one that I truly love. This is not a look that is highly coveted in Maine but, I'm trying. It's so romantic.
You also have to pay attention to detail and this is what Bennison is doing here by mixing their endless fabrics to work together.
Another classic way to use Bennsion.
I saved the best for last. OK, Bennsion also printed wallpaper. But, one has to ask, where did you get that Zebra?
