Diamond Baratta Design, New York

Benjamin Moore holds their HUE awards every year for those designers and architects that are risk takers when it comes to color. I must admit that Diamond Baratta has always been my secret hero in this area. They use color like no one else on the planet and get away with it because they are so clued in. People are afraid to commit to color for fear of limiting their options and we all know options are a good thing. Color should not make you feel as though you have limited your options by any stretch. In most instances, color opens up more options to invite in even more color. For nearly 30 years, Diamond Baratta have shown their brilliance at reinterpreting historical and classical looks, and very often it is via use of color - an unexpected contrast or untried pairing of hues - Diamond Baratta raises the bar. They won the Lifetime Achievement award, well deserved guys!
Would someone please let me do this to your house?
This house must be in Florida.
Sunny side up?
A very clever way to use periwinkle, kudos... |
