In doing research for a current project that has been both challenging and rewarding, I came across a picture of a room I have admired in an Elle Decor magazine.  This prompted a call to one of my very favorite showrooms, Lee Jofa and, to speak with one of my very favorite showroom managers, Carolann.  I really love the way the this designer applied the fabric to these antique chairs.

Explaining my thoughts to Carolann about how to achieve the look I am wanting, Carolann suggested Andrew Martin.  I am aware of Andrew Martin but, to date, I have never used his product.  It takes the right project, as you will see, to pull off an “Andrew” moment.  Not to mention the “right” client.

Beetle’s fans out there?  Speak up!  This is terrific.

This is a perfect way to preserve an old leather chair while making it interesting.  You can find these chairs at auctions which I have in the past.

And, if you were thinking that Andrew Martin was a little traditional then yes, surprise!  Ultra hip and very cool.
